I first met Willa in the early 1980’s while we worked at Overlake Hospital, she being the Charge RN. I was amazed at how steady and calm she remained during highly stressful situations. Over the years, we kept in touch and became more like sisters, rather than friends.
I am so happy she was able to visit me three times on Kaua’i. She loved seeing the gorgeous sights and meeting many of my friends.
Willa was a beautiful, caring person, who loved greatly her family and friends. I miss our talks and her friendly, welcoming smile.
The world is a more serene place because she graced it. Mahalo, sis. Marilyn Joy

Dear Sue and Julie, Your mother, my dear Aunt Willa was So, so dear to me! We had so many good times together. She inspired my love for cooking, because she was such a good cook! Julie, remember when our dear cousin Ed- God rest his soul, and you and I joined your mom for Easter one year in Renton? She made a delectable Roast Lamb! We devoured it! Plus, the fun weekend trip to Vancouver? It was awesome. I remember fondly, the trip out to Woolaroc when we were kids. Your mom did much for us all. She loved her family and her friends so much! I'm so very blessed to have seen her one month before she left this place! Thank you God! I love you Aunt Willa ❤️! Rest in peace, Love, your Teresa
