Obituary of John Francis Simpson

John F (Jack) Simpson Jack, born in Seattle in 1928, died unexpectedly after a brief illness on June 22, 2009. He was a graduate of O'Dea HS 1947, attended Seattle University, and was a US Marine Corps, Korean War Veteran. Jack is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline, and children: Paul of Seattle, WA, Kathy Autry (Claude) of Kent, WA, Joe of Ninilchik, AK, Teresa Bess (Bob) of Vancouver, WA, Rosie Feeney (Terry) of San Rafael, CA, Steve of Anchorage, AK, Tim (Bobbi) of Mt. Lake Terrace, WA, grandchildren Alicia, John, Sarah, Molly, Megan, Jack, and Maxine, and numerous neices and nephews. We all feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful Husband, Dad & Grandfather. He will be very missed. Rosary: Thursday June 25th at 7 pm, followed by Funeral Service Friday June 26 at 11 am, both at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1401 Valley Ave E, Sumner, WA 98390. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Carmelite Monastery of Seattle, 2215 NE 147th Street, Shoreline, WA 98155 in his memory.
