Obituary of Ted W. Kasprowicz

Tadeusz (Ted) W. Kasprowicz, 80, of Oroville, WA, passed peacefully away on February 7, 2024 with his family at his side. Born in Krakow, Poland on December 17, 1943 to Zbigniew and Krystyna Kasprowicz, now deceased. At 19, while enrolled in a Polish Maritime Academy, he jumped ship while in Germany and claimed political asylum. From there, he chose to come to the United States of America where he would live out the rest of his life. 

Ted settled in California for a time, starting a family and a career in the bottling industry. He joined the United States Army in 1969 for two years and became a U.S. Citizen in August of 1972. He loved fishing and hunting which brought him and his family to Washington State in 1977. He moved to Orville in 1997 to retire and enjoy the outdoor life. In his latest years, Ted's passion was watching soccer games and following the leagues from all over the world. 

Ted is survived by his wife Robin, and children Erik (Teresa) Kasprowicz, Jason (Lydia) Kasprowicz, Tammy Kasprowicz and Angela (Ryan) Hintz. A very special place in his heart was for his 6 grandchildren: Autumn, Noah, Natasha, Evelyn, Ethan and Elias. He was also survived by a brother, Kris Kasprowicz.
