Obituary of Gladys Emilee Pearson

Gladys Emilee Pearson, 91, peacefully passed on to Heaven in her Puyallup home on Dec 29, 2023. She was surrounded with love by family, friends and beloved pets during her 10 week journey on Hospice. Gladys was born May 12, 1932 to Thelma and Daniel in the bustling city of Golden, Colorado. She moved with her family around 1942 to Washington and graduated from Puyallup High School in 1951 with a major in home economic, and a minor in stage crew! After graduating she worked in the medical industry doing laundry. She also did work in the chicken industry gathering eggs and testing their blood across the state. Gladys loved her family, reading, sports, Coors beer and whiskey! In high school she met the love of her life in stage crew. Her and Robert dated for 10 years and were married for 54 years. In retirement they delivered news papers for the Tacoma News Tribune for 14 years. Gladys was predeceased by Charles (son), Thelma (Mother), Robert (Husband), Evelyn and Lou (sisters), Joseph (son-in-law). She is survived by Catharine (daughter), Pearl (sister), 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Services: Viewing Friday, January 5th from 4-6pm at Curnow Funeral Home, 1504 Main Street in Sumner where a view; A Celebration of Life, Sunday, January 7th at 4pm at Celebration Center, 13603 86th Ave E Puyallup.
