Obituary of Allen G Parke

Allen (Al) G Parke 68, Federal Way, WA passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital due to a medical emergency.

 

Al was born April 18th, 1955, at Fort Leonard Wood, MO to Clarence Raymond Parke and Donna (Greicar) Fleming. He graduated from Dickinson High School in 1973. On June 14th, 1974, he married his love, Stella Fettig. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, playing cribbage with family and friends and volunteering for churches he attended. He loved collecting and teaching others how to use tools, taking and editing photographs for family and friends, working on his computers and cheering for his favorite team, the Seahawks. His time being a volunteer firefighter in Dickinson, ND provided great memories that he loved to share with all of us.

Al started his electrical career in 1977 in Billings, MT under the ·watchful· eye of Stella's Uncle Joe. In 1979 he moved back to Dickinson, ND to obtain his electrical license and continued working until 1985. At that time, he moved to Federal Way. WA to continue his electrical career until he retired in 2021. Highlights of his electrical career in Washington include 35 years in the electricol union, working on the Williom Gotes residence in Medino, WA, Henry Art Museum in Seattle, WA, Shirley Orchard residence in Medina, WA and the Brotman Medina residence in Medina, WA.

Al is survived by his wife Stella of 49 years; his sons, Chris (wife\daughter, Sarah) and James; Granddaughters Hannah Carrillo (husband Fabian) and Elizabeth; Great grandson Emmanuel Allen Carrillo; Mother Donna Fleming; Brothers Mike Parke (son Dan); Will Fleming (son Billy); Sisters Michelle Stevier-Johanson (husband Paul); Kim (Parke) Knight (husband Mark, sons Michael, Cody and Jacob).

Al is preceded in death by: Grandparents;

Step Mother Betty Parke;
Mother in-law Marie Fettig;
Father in-law August Fettig;
Brothers Cyril James Parke; Randy Parke;
Sister in-law Karen Parke;
Brother in-law Vern Fettig; Nephew Jon Fettig.
