Obituary of Robert Herman Brown

Robert Herman Brown, AKA “The Balloon Man”,”RB The Clown”,and “Bob with two Os”, 81 years old, of Bonney Lake, Washington peacefully passed away on Oct 24,2023 surrounded by loved ones, after a battle with cancer.

Robert was born on Nov 16, 1941 to Russell and Violet Brown in the bustling city of Chicago. After leaving Austin High School he joined the us air force as a gas passer, which he carried through the rest of his life.

On Nov 28,1964 he married Viola, his beloved wife of almost 60 years. They went on to have 5 kids Lisa, Russell, Ronald, Lora, and Lana, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. “My family has always been a close knit, but busy family”.

Robert had a lot of different jobs: Gas station attendant, volunteer FireFighter, Milkman, he also worked for IBM, Boeing, Sheet metal worker. He then joined the Sheet Metal workers Union. Robert and Viola, after moving around the country, they finally made their home in Seattle Washington, were he started work at McKinstry.

Robert was active with church,and his clown act. With his balloons he was able to bring a smile to anyone's face no matter their age. He was able to talk to anyone, even a stranger in the store. If you ever met Robert you could never forget. Robert retired in 2003 after many years in the trade, 26 years with McKinstry. While retired Robert and his loving wife Viola spent their time traveling across the US and other countries, doing things they weren't able to do with 5 kids. “ Needless to say, I've always lived a busy,productive life that revolved around the people I loved.”

Robert was predeceased by his parents Russell and Violet, his sisters Marilynn,and Jacquelynn. He is survived by Roselynn, Richard, Evelynn, and Joylynn.
