Obituary of Timothy Steven Grace

Timothy Steven Grace, a pillar of kind strength in the community, concluded his earthly journey surrounded by his family, on November 1, 2023, in Puyallup, Washington, at the age of 63. Born in Burbank, California, May 10, 1960, Tim was a true gentleman and his legacy of love and gentle humor lives on through the lives he touched.

A devoted family man, Tim found his greatest joy being with his family, Lynda and their children: Michael (Cassie), Stephanie, Andrew (Emily), and Evan (Haley). He adored his 10 grandchildren and was often at their eye level, giving each his full attention and delighting them with his endless repertoire of “dad jokes”. Tim's love and support extended to his mother, Linda Rae Bauer, his siblings, and in-laws whose lives he enriched with optimism.

As a respected podiatrist, Tim's commitment to the well-being of his patients was exceptional. He committed 31 years to running his private practice, advancing the field through his roles in the WSPMA (Washington State Podiatric Medical Association) and APMA (American Podiatric Medical Association). His contributions to the podiatric community earned him Podiatrist of the Year in 2019 from the WSPMA.

Tim's unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints guided his path. His service as Bishop of the Silver Creek Ward and his missionary work in the North Carolina Greensboro Mission were testaments to his spiritual devotion.

His vibrant personality was reflected in his eclectic hobbies that ranged from embracing the latest technology to capturing the world's beauty through his camera lens. Tim enjoyed smooth jazz, ice-cream, and adventure.  His cycling expeditions, and unforgettable travels enriched his life and cultivated family traditions.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Saturday, November 18th, at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 8615 176th St E in Puyallup, Washington. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed at https://youtube.com/@gemheightsward. The family welcomes you to join them in honoring Tim's memory and, in lieu of flowers, invites you to contribute to the Tim Grace Memorial Bike Fund, dedicated to installing a bench along the Orting trail, a lasting tribute to his adventurous spirit.
