Obituary of Debbie Marie Britton

Debbie Marie Stolen was born June 19th, 1952, in Tacoma Washington to Kjell & Pinky Stolen. Deb was like sunshine, from her white-blonde hair to her vibrant personality and crystal blue-green eyes, that sparkled when she smiled. Deb grew up in the Fife Valley surrounded by her 5 siblings, where she picked berries and attended school. She loved life. Most would say, “you could never have more fun than you’ll have with ‘Deb” she was filled with joy and laughter.

She married the love of her life, Jack Britton in 1974. They raised their 2 children Misty and Ryan in that same Fife Valley.

Deb loved children and animals. She worked in special education for Fife School District. Her love for dogs was contagious. It was rare to see her without her faithful canine companions. It was remarkable to watch her with dogs. Deb loved the beach, the water- Puget sound. She was a Pacific Northwesterner through and through.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, son Ryan and sister Sharon. She leaves behind her daughter Misty & family, Ryans family, siblings and numerous beloved family members and friends.

The one thing Deb could teach us all, is to fully live in the moment. That is a gift. Time is not guaranteed and now is all we ever truly have.  We are thankful to have known and loved such an incredible person. She will be greatly missed by all.

If I should go tomorrow

It would never be goodbye,

For I have left my heart with you,

So don’t you ever cry.

The love that’s deep within me,

Shall reach you from the stars,

You’ll feel it from the heavens,

And it will heal from the scars.
