Obituary of Kenneth John Densmore

Kenneth John Densmore, 71, of Lake Tapps, WA passed away on Father's Day, June 18, 2023.

Ken was born on May 6,1952 to Bennett Edward Densmore and Doris Margaret (Mather) Densmore in Seattle, WA. Washington state would remain his home for his whole life. He was happy to claim the distinction of being a Northwest native.

After graduating from Cleveland High School in 1970 he worked for a time at Gibson Sound and Light. He had many stories about setting up equipment for various functions throughout the Seattle area. Concerts, movie and TV productions and such.

His next job would lead to a lifelong career as a journeyman lineman. Seattle City Light and Puget Sound Energy (Puget Power) would receive 45+ years of his working life.

While at Seattle City Light he met Sue. They were  married in 1982 and joyfully began to build a family together. Their children include: Chapin John Densmore, Karley Anne Densmore and Jacob Bennett Densmore. Ken's family was always his #1 priority. He was fiercely protective of his wife and children. His hard work provided them with a loving home and happy life.

Before retiring in 2020 he was delighted to welcome Chapin's wife, Jessica; Karley's husband, Peter; and Jake's wife Kate into his family circle. He loved each new addition like his own. Through these unions he was able to revel in the arrival of 5 grandchildren.  Cameron, Mari, Bode, Sam and Mac brought extreme joy to his life. Ken said he looked forward to the arrival of a future grandchild because that would give him a six pack!
