Obituary of Corazon Ramos Beatima

Corazon Ramos Beatima was called to her eternal home on February 23, 2023.  

Cora was born on September 4, 1959 to Flora Del Rosario and Martin Ramos Jr. In Bataan, Philippines She was the oldest of 8 children and of her fraternal twin.  

In 1977, she met her husband, best friend, life partner Bienvenido Beatima. They had seven children, Marie, Ben, Maranatha, Jeremiah, Michael, David and Jonathan.  

The family moved to Guam in 1991, where they settled. She worked in a day care center, in restaurants but her proudest position she ever held is being a Pastor’s wife. She was Benjie’s partner in the ministry. Praying for people, reaching out to the lost, loving on her community. The family moved to California in 2007 and they continued their work in ministry, often being asked to travel to places for speaking engagements. 

She is predeceased by her Mother, Father, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She is survived by her husband, Benjie. Her seven children, Marie Laureano (Don Laureano), Benjamin Beatima (Gem Beatima), Maranatha Martin (Jeremy Martin), Jeremiah Beatima, Michael Beatima, David Beatima and Jonathan Beatima. She was an extraordinary Nana to her five grandchildren who miss her dearly, Calvin Laureano, Gio and Kai Beatima, Abigail and Amelia Martin.  

Cora valued God, family and her community. She instilled in her kids loving others as much as Jesus loves us. She gave generously without expectations. She cared deeply. Her legacy will live on with her children and grandchildren. She taught her children servitude and that serving your community is serving the Lord God Almighty.  

Although, she is no longer here with us. She will remain in our hearts, thoughts and mind. We will emulate her in everything we do and she will be proud of us. We love you mom, we got it from here. Enjoy paradise. Until we meet again.
