Obituary of Robert H lee
Robert Lee, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022, as the result of a sudden illness.
Robert was born January 11, 1940, in Tacoma, WA. He was the youngest of 3 children to Wallace & June Lee. After graduating from Franklin Pierce High School (class of 1958), he worked at Boeing as a crane operator and for his parents on their carnival. He still has several of his father’s carousel horses to this day. He joined the Air Force in 1962 and served 4 years as a medic at Larson AFB in Moses Lake, WA. He then went back to work at Boeing and eventually retired from there as a Teamster.
Robert had 5 children with his wife of 53 years, who were married on August 30, 1969. They enjoyed many years together vacationing and travelling around the world.
Robert had a passion for Lionel tarins and draft horses. He served as Superintendent for the Puyallup Fair draft horse barn for several years. He also accumulated many Lionel train sets over his lifetime.
Robert is preceded in death by his daughter Robyn, his oldest sister Wallene and his parents Wallace and June. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Lora Lee, children Stephanie Owens (Cliff), Loree Stepp (Joe), Chad, Brad (Becky), grandchildren Rachel Owens & Jaxon Owens, his sister Sharron Lee, and several nieces and nephews.
