Obituary of Ruth Louise Gilfilan

Our beloved Ruth Lousie Gilfilan gained her wings to return home to our Lord on August 6th, 2019. Unfortunately leaving her children Mary Anne Meeker and Daniel Alexander Meeker behind. Along with her grandchildren Mariah Breanna Jackson, Madelynn Marie Hope Finney and Samuel Christopher Fields, who will all miss and love her dearly.

Her siblings Linda Jo Santos, Tanya Kerney (her husband Mike Kernery), Joseph R. White and Marilyn White will forever be remembering their loving sister. Linda's children Miguel Santos and his children and J.Santos and his children will be deprived of a wonderful aunt. Other realtives and friends including Diane Rice and Charele Rice lost a relationship with an irreplaceable soul. Her parents were Joseph Herman and Agnes Peare White. Growing up she lived on her grandparents farm, and along Harry and Ann Keller's beach, Sunnyside located in stelicoom, washington. Her early adult life was spent waitressing in New York and Tacoma, Washington. Later on she began working at the Star Lite swap meet, which grew to become a genuinely happy peace for her, there she met and befriended many lucky individuals. Any preson who encountered Ruth, whether it be for two minutes or 20 years, they where impacted with nothing but bkessings and positivity. Our hearts now contain an emptiness that no one can fill nor replace. She will be immensely missed. We can find some comfort knowing that shr is resting peacefully now and forever. Her sister Linda says "one day we will be together again"- Linda Jo Santos

Her daughter Mary Ane Meeker promises to keep her memory alive by continuing to participate in several of Ruth's favorites such as eating Hawaiian pizza or vinilla ice cream. Anytime we see carnations, envision her smelling the flowers along side us. Our quardian angel is dancing with her beloved Elvis in her blue sued shoes. Her daughter says "I'll love you forever"- Mary Anne Meeker
