Obituary of Stanley Eugene Wilson

Stanley Eugene Wilson Stan, age 67, of Union Gap, WA went to join his loving wife Merilee, with the Lord on Saturday, September 25, 2010 after an extended illness. He was born July 30, 1943 in Port Gamble, WA to parents Eugene & Mary Wilson (Howerton). He raised his children in Durham, CA and spent his later years in Union Gap, WA. Stan is survived by his mother, Mary Dallas Howerton of Silverdale, WA; Four children; Teresa Wahl of Oroville, CA, Kristine & husband Joe Scroggins of Yakima, WA, Shannon & husband Sean Gordon of Union Gap, WA and Shawn and wife Alesha Wilson of Akron OH; Three brothers; Bob & Pam Wilson of Las Vegas, NV, Dave & Sue Wilson of Nooksack, WA, Ken & Lisa Wilson of Silverdale, WA and Sister; Carolyn & John Gillick of Tonasket, WA and Six grandchildren; Greg Wahl of Durham, CA, Karissa Wahl of Oroville, CA, Cameron & Catrina Gordon of Union Gap, WA and Zander Marmaduke (Wilson) & Lorna Wilson of Akron, OH. Stan enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, golfing, gold panning, bad jokes, woodworking, working on cars, preaching God’s word, watching his kids and grandchildren play sports, volunteering at the school and helping anyone in need. Stan touched many lives and will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 4pm Friday Oc. 1 at Stone Church, 3303 Englewood Ave, Yakima, WA.
