Obituary of Michael S. Buchanan

Michael S Buchanan, aka Bucky passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2010 while hiking Pinnacle Peak with a dear friend. Bucky was a man full of life, love and laughter. His passion for his family was what kept him going each and every day. The outdoors was where Mike felt most as home - whether it be biking, skiing, hiking or just camping, he loved it all. His practical jokes and nicknames are infamous among his family and friends, and many places will seem just a little quieter without his booming voice echoing through. To know Mike was to have laughed often and to honor Mike is to live your life with your heart on your sleeve and make the most of each and every day. Mike is survived by his wife of nearly 32 years Judy, children Julie (Leroy), Cindy (Rex) and Brian (Stacy), 3 grandchildren and another one on the way, his parents Chuck and Aggie and sisters Karen and Joyce. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Sunday, 3/21. The potluck and celebration will be held at the Swiss Sportsman Club, 9205 198th Ave E, Bonney Lake WA.
