Obituary of Audra C. Burnett

Audra C. Burnett (known by everyone as A.C.), was born August. 14, 1914 in Hilltop, Arkansas and passed away January 12, 2010 in Puyallup, at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lela Burnett, who passed away July 27, 1999, son William Burnett (9/1999), and daughter Dawna Floe (1/2008). A.C. was one of the original employees at the Hanford Project in Richland, WA in 1942, and retired at age 65. He loved his work and loved Richland, many friends there, hunting and fishing. . He lived independently until age 91 in his Richland home. His daughter Gwen Dewey brought him to Puyallup 4 years ago. He leaves behind two children, Gwen Dewey and Stan Burnett, as well as 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
