Obituary of Joseph C. Alessandra

Joseph C. Alessandra June 27, 1953 - January 15, 2010 Husband, father, and friend to many. Born in Rochester, NY to Joseph & Rose Alessandra. He is survived by his wife Arlyn, and children Joe, Jennifer & Phillip, also his mother Rose & siblings Michael, Terry & Frank. At the age of 7, his parents moved from New York to Southern California. After graduating in 1972 from Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, CA he later moved to the Seattle-Tacoma area. An avid fisherman in his spare time, he loved the lakes, rivers and Puget Sound. A rock musician and respected electric guitarist, Joseph enjoyed all the encounters he had with local musicians & friends. His pastimes included auto mechanics, electronics, remote control model airplanes, flying Ultra-light airplanes, even small boat building, and recently sailboating on Puget Sound. Family camping trips and the outdoors were among his life's activities. A man of faith, he has gone to his Heavenly Father. Services to be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Lighthouse Christian Center, Puyallup, WA.
