Obituary of Michael James Burgess

Michael James Burgess was born on Friday the 13th of November, 1964, the first son and good luck charm of James and Sandra Burgess, in North Hollywood CA. He began school at Ft. Lewis, WA and graduated from Washington High School, Parkland, WA. As a military brat he traveled the country with his family, enjoying the many fishing holes and friends. In 1989 he met the love of his life, Deanna. They reconnected in 1998 and have been constant companions. In 2004 they became the proud parents of Victoria Leigh, the sunshine of his life. He is survived by his father Jim, brothers Darryl and Scott, Auntie, Uncle Bob, nieces Kelcy and Kaitlin, cousins Paula, Jason, and Jesse, many friends, among whom are Dominick, Steve and Laurie, Marcus and Jessica, Roy, Pacilio, Yolanda, Deb, and Miss King-Jones. He was preceded in death by mother Sandra, grandmother Dolores and grandfather Ted, and his dog Beamer. Memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Church of God, 2303 S. Sheridan, Tacoma WA, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are by Curnow Funeral Home, Sumner, WA
