Obituary of Frederick James Copeland

Fred passed away after a hard fought bout with cancer. He was born in Tacoma and graduated from Stadium High School. Fred was an exceptional carpenter. His work can be found in thousands of homes, including his own. Fred was happiest when he was busy building, taking pictures, climbing the mountain, hiking, camping, spending time with his friends and family, traveling, or just 'discussing' the world's problems with anyone who was handy. He truly enjoyed helping others with their projects. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary, his two sons, David Frederick and Michael James, his daughter-in-law Roni Emmons Copeland, his granddaughter Sabryee Michelle Copeland, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many loving and dear friends. A funeral service to be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., LDS Church, 512 Valley Ave. E., Sumner, Washington 98390. There will be a reception to follow on site.
