Obituary of Kurt Alan Kundert
Kurt Kundert was taken from us suddenly.He passed away in his sleep on Thursday, December 3. He was born in Monroe, Wisconsin on November 11, 1961, and had lived in Orting for the last six months. Kurt was a gentle and loving son, brother, father, and friend. He loved old movies, comedy, music, acting,and most of all superheroes, focusing on Batman comics and collectibles, among many others, His greatest regret was probably that he was not born in Stately Wayne Manor. In June, he was baptized at Soundlife Church in Tacoma. He had many friends there, including Brian and Diana Herron The light of his life was his daughter Emma, who he called "his little monkey". They shared cartoons, stories, toys, and loved celebrating all holidays to the fullest, especially Christmas. Kurt also loved his work at Centerforce in Lakewood, where he had many friends. Kurt is survived by his daughter, Emma, mother, Helen (who misses him so much), sister Kathy Hart (Jean), sister Chris Thurman, ex-wife, Patty, many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Richard A. Kundert. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, December 19, at Soundlife Church,located at 3425 176th St E, Tacoma 98446. Donations may be made for a trust fund for his daughter, Emma.
