Obituary of Edith Harris

Born October 16, 1932, Spring Creek, North Dakota. Passed away October 29, 2009, Bellevue Washington. Edith passed away from complications after hip surgery. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Anthony. Children: Terri (Paul Nelson), David (Sheila), Toni, (Mike Armstrong) Marc (Karen) 9 Grandchildren: Julie, Ryan, Nicole, Karin, Brian, Brad, Craig, Matt & Melissa 9 Great Grandchildren: Taylor, Zach, Zaya, Max, Nathan, Ryder, Kaydin, Ava & Tyler, many nieces and nephews. Edith is preceded in death by her parents Henry & Alice Giste, siblings, Jane, Joe, Les & Doug. She is survived by Phyllis, MaryLou, Jerry, Mike, Gary & Tom. “Gaga” enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing her passion of gardening with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was an active volunteer at the Sumner Senior Center and Food Bank. Viewing, Tuesday November 3, 5-8 pm Curnow Funeral Home, 1410 Main Street Sumner. Private graveside service followed by a public Memorial service, Wednesday November 4, 2:00 pm Sumner Methodist Church, 901 Wood Ave. Memorials may be made to the Sumner Food Bank.
