Obituary of Jason Jay Stewart

Jason Jay Stewart was born on August 2, 1978 in Auburn, Washington to Sandra Kay Shamblin. As a long time and faithful member of First Pentecostal Church of Puget Sound, he loved serving the Lord. Not a week went by that he did not take the time to pass out cards and invite people to church. He was also attending a theology class to help deepen his understanding of the Word, which was important to him. Jason enjoyed reading biographies and about Bible history. He was active in any activities at the church, and loved playing sports. Jason liked to be outdoors and in the woods. He would often go hunting with his grandfather. Whenever he could, Jason would go out with his uncle and cousins to off-road. Rim Rock was one of his favorite places to “wheel” and he was even able to travel to Moab, Utah with them to experience the rocky and desert terrain that area offers to the off-roading sport. He was skilled in drawing. He also played the trumpet and saxophone for many years. He was an inspiration and a friend to many. Jason passed away on October 20, 2009. He is survived by his mother, Sandy; sister, Kaylena; brother-in-law, Dustin; niece, Chantiel; nephew, Spencer; grandmother; Elnora; uncle, Harold; aunt, Vickie; great-aunt, Viva; cousins, Amy, Ervin, Kenny; many other extended family, and a host of friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
