Darleen Dee Barker, 64, returned to Heavenly
Father Monday, July 6, 2009 after courageously
battling cancer. Darleen was born October 8, 1944
in Canastota, New York.
Darleen is survived by her husband, Thomas
Barker; mother, Kathleen Hogan; mother-in-law,
Margie Caudle; her brother Michael (Debbie) Fratini;
Sister, Shirley Wight; her children, Tammy Giauque, Gerald (Gabriella) Giauque, Desaree (Brian) Hague, Dana (Nichole Houser) Giauque, Darleen (Michael) Allen, Jina (Jeff) Olson, Toshihiro (Jeanne) Watanabe; 16 grand-children, Aaron, Jordan, Jawnee, Keoni, Madeleine, Mikayla, Molly, Baylee,
Rochelle, Spencer, Kenji, Samuel, Jintana, Mia, Philip, Kalena, and
great granddaughter, Raina. Darleen was predeceased
by granddaughter, Kathleen Ellis. Also, Darleen is survived
by countless friends, who she loved very much.
Darleen was a beloved wife, loving mother,
devoted grandmother, proud great-grandmother,
and loyal friend. She loved Heavenly Father and
Jesus Christ with all her heart and shared her faith
with all around her. Her smile, laugh, tender touch,
humor, wisdom, companionship, friendship, and
beautiful spirit will be greatly missed! Darleen gave
a beautiful legacy and precious memories to cherish forever!
Viewing will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 from 4pm-8pm
at Curnow Funeral Home, Sumner, WA. An additional
viewing will be Saturday, July 11, 2009 beginning from
10am-10:40am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints, 12407 Military Rd E, Puyallup, WA. Funeral services
will be Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11am at the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12407 Military Rd E, Puyallup, WA.
