Obituary of Samuel J. Swartz

Samuel J. Swartz born September 7, 1931 in St. Paul, Oregon was the youngest of 10 children. He was married to Mary Adonis for 56 years. They had four children, Robert E. (Susan) of Rainier, WA., Samuel (Sammy) and (Sharon) of Bonney Lake, Donna ( Ray) Glass of Olympia, Eunice Petrimoulx preceded him in death in 2003. Blessed with 10 grandchildren, 31 wonderful great grandchildren and 1 beautiful 3 week old great-great grandchild. Survived by his sister, Betty Dennison of Renton, 2 brothers by law Duane Garoutte and Bill Garoutte both in Oregon. Samuel lived at Lake Tapps since 1958 and retired from Boeing after 36 years. He volunteered at the Western Washington Fair. Sam loved going to all his jam sessions playing his guitar and singing his favorite songs. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Bonney Lake Independent Baptist Church, Pastor Mike Frost or Group Health Hospice, Tacoma. A memorial service will be held Sunday June 14, 1 p.m. at the Prairie Ridge Community Center, Bonney Lake.
