Obituary of Wayne C. Little

Wayne C. Little Passed away April 29, 2009, at Pioneer Place in Tacoma, WA. He was born in Seattle, WA, July 26, 1928, to Arthur Little and Bertha (Tuttle) Little, and was the oldest of four siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dona Stump. Wayne grew up in eastern Washington, graduating from Granger High School in 1947. Wayne married Alfa Irene Butchart, July 15, 1947. They had two daughters, Anne R. Barber-Polikoff, OD, (Larry) and Lynn Garner. Besides his wife and daughters, Wayne is survived by his brother, Loren Little, sister Darlene Curtiss, grandsons, Ted Barber (Kathleen), Ze Little (Susan), Ben Polikoff (Li), three great grandsons and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne worked as a maintenance electrician for various industries in the Tacoma area since the early 1950's, until his retirement in 1993. He and Irene fulfilled the adventures of a lifetime visiting Alaska, Australia (four times) and New Zealand. A memorial gathering will be planned for the summer.
