Obituary of Erika L. Ronshaugen

Erika Lieselotte Ronshaugen Erika was born December 28, 1939 in Lugnitz, Germany and passed away January 28, 2009 in Gig Harbor, Washington at the age of 69. She was the beloved wife of Lee A. Ronshaugen; mother of Brigitte (Jay Milsten), Sandra (John Tankiewicz), and Lee Eric (Louise) Ronshaugen; grandmother to Jayson, Nicole, Isabella, Isaiah, Joseph, Rachelle, Carsten; great-grandmother to Ajani, Jayda, and Kenzie; and a friend to many. Erika was preceded in death by her parents Helmut and Emilie Lohan. She is survived by her sister Rotraud in Germany. Erika was an entrepreneur and owned businesses in Auburn, Tacoma, and Germany. She loved people and was an optimist and a joy. Hard work was no stranger to Erika. She was full of surprises, and there were few, if any, dull moments. Erika loved her family. She also loved and served her Lord, Jesus Christ, both in the US and Europe, teaching, serving and stirring things up. She loved life and always met it head on. Erika's memory was taken from her but oh, did she leave a lot of memories behind. A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM, Wednesday, 18 February 2009, at Lighthouse Christian Center, 10711 80th Ave E, Puyallup, WA 98373, tele: 253-848-2028, www.lighthousehome.org .
