I am a graduate of Caldwell High 1967. Leroy and I were friends and from time to time I would help with chores at the kennel in Caldwell. I liked CD and all of us that spent time at the kennel thought he was just one of the gang.

I last saw Dennie at our cousin reunion, and we had a nice visit. I have a lifetime of memories of my cousin. He was always so sweet. However, I have given him credit for my fear of spiders.
I remember playing in the barn loft. I remember him delivering milk, stopping by for a visit with his rodeo friends, his love of animals, and seeing him show his dogs in Medford, Oregon. He had the first pekingese dog, and as a result Eleanor, Uncle Quentin, and I fell in love with the breed and all got one. The little puppy was given to me on Christmas. It was a treasured memory. I still love those little dogs. CeDe's Chinese Peekeepoo. I think that's correct. I named her Susie.
Marie, George, Delbert, Marilyn, and families: my deepest sympathy and thoughts of you all.

Carroll, and his brother, Delbert, were my schoolmates, and fellow classmates of Caldwell, Idaho, Class of 1949. Though of the same surname, we were not actually related, but felt like we were "maybe, sorta, like cousins" anyway! I will always cherish my memories of Carroll, from school days, seeing him work as a dairyman, and more recently from a fine time we enjoyed with him on a visit to his home in Kent. His Yorkies were awesome! Farewell, old friend. You will be greatly missed.
