Obituary of Fred J. Hueneka

Jeff Hueneka passed away October 20, 2008 at the age of 56 of complications from his long battle with cancer. He was born August 20, 1952 in Puyallup. Jeff graduated from Orting High School. Jeff devoted his life to helping others. He was a volunteer fire fighter, EMT, fire captain and lastly Fire Commissioner for District 18. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, classical music, politics, history, welding. Jeff was a simple man with a brilliant mind, and a warm heart generous and thoughtful to all he met. He is survived by his mother Carol F. Hueneka; Father Fred E Hueneka; brother David (Deena); sister Suzie (Ray); nieces Amy, Melissa (Michael), Nicole; great nieces Emily and Kayden; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his nephew Kasey Emry in 2004. In Honor of Jeff any donations will go to cancer research for Lymphoma and stem cell. Thank you.
