Obituary of Jack O. Haugland

Jack O. Haugland Jack, 76, of Puyallup, born to Peter and Gunhild Haugland passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 15, 2008. He is survived by his wife Marge of 49 years, 3 sons, Robert (Marcela), Peter, Jack (Tina), 2 sisters Grace Nilsson and Clara (David) Peterson, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, Aunt Lilly and many cousins in Norway. He was preceded in death by his parents & in 2005 by his sister Patricia. Jack served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a mechanic for Buck and Son Tractor Company for 35 years. He loved going deer and elk hunting and watching the Seahawks and Mariners. His family gave him so much joy, and they will cherish these memories forever. His sense of humor and caring manner will be missed by many. Services will be 11:00 a.m. on October 27 at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA. Following will be a celebration of life at the VFW Hall, Puyallup at 1:00 p.m.
