Obituary of Phyllis Elaine Daniels

Phyllis Daniels passed away on March 12th at her home near Bonney Lake, WA. at the age of 84. She was born in Glendive, Montana and lived in Washington since 1948. She is survived by her husband, William A, Daniels Jr., who was blessed to share her life for the last 61 years. Together, they had five children, William Daniels III, Herbert Daniels, Sandra Silva, Judith Hines and Deborah Corliss. Phyllis was proud to be the grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Phyllis was also survived by her two younger brothers, Ray and Ardel Johnston, of Los Angeles and Gig Harbor respectively. Viewing will be held Monday 5-8 PM at Curnow Funeral Home, 1410 Main St. Sumner, 863-2800. A viewing will begin at 8 AM Tuesday followed by a celebration of Phyllis's life at 10 AM at the Puyallup Community Baptist Church located at 1318 9th Ave. SW, Puyallup, 98371. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM at the Tahoma National Cemetery, located at 18600 SE 240th St., Covington, WA. 98042. A reception will then follow this service back at the church in Puyallup. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Phyllis to the Camp Gilead c/o of Puyallup Community Baptist Church.
