Obituary of Ludwig Joseph Job

Ludwig Joseph Job of Puyallup WA, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday evening, February 19th. Lou was born in Wibaux, Montana on May 26th, 1934 to Dominik and Katherine Job. After attending high school, he joined the Air Force, where he served for 22 years. He met his wife Toshiko in Okinawa, Japan while stationed at Kadena Air Base. They were married almost 50 years prior to his death. He is survived by his wife Toshiko, three sons, Mike (Leslie), Jim (Chrystie) and Richard (Julie), six grandchildren Rachelle, Amanda, Madison, Michael, Nathan and Joshua, and one great-grandchild Dustin all of Puyallup, WA. He is also survived by eight siblings, Tom Job, Olivia Jimson, Katherine Zinda and Agnes Miesaloski all of Glendive, MT. Also Rosie Walsh and Ralph Job of Billings, MT, Eva Parker of Santa Barbara, CA and Annie Pearson of St. Cloud, MN. Lou loved doing home improvement tasks and he loved watching the Mariners and Seahawks. He will be dearly missed. Viewing will be at Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner on February 26th from 5-8pm (1410 Main Street, Sumner, WA 98390). A graveside service will be held at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup on February 27th at 12pm noon (2323 9th Street SW, Puyallup, WA 98372). Memorial services will be held at Sumner United Methodist Church on February 27th at 1pm with a reception at the church following the memorial service (901 Wood Ave, Sumner, WA 98390).
