Obituary of Scott Wilson Burgan

LTC Dr. Scott Wilson Burgan passed away on October 11th 2012 with his wife by his side and holding his hand .Scott was predeceased by his father Charles Burgan .He is survived by his wife Brenda, his mother Elaine, four children ,four step children,5 grandchildren 7 siblings many friends and colleagues .Scott served as a Periodontist in the US Army. Among his attributes as a Dental Officer he served as a mentor to army dentists , wrote and published medical/dental articles and served two terms in Iraq. Scott also wrote beautiful poetry and collected music from all over the world. Scott loved his wife and family with all his heart. There are no words for how much he will be missed by all." Goodbye for now my Handsome Prince til we meet again."We wish to thank the following people Neighbors Jim, Bill and Melisa for their quick selfless acts to help Scott, The Burn Surgery Intensive Care Unit at Harborview for their compassionate care and heroic efforts . Chaplains Clay Davis ,and Joe Hibbard that came to pray with us in our darkest hour . Debra and Lana for being our port in the storm. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at 10:45 a.m. at The Sumner United Methodist Church, 901 Wood Ave, Sumner followed by graveside services at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, at 1:15 p.m.
