Obituary of Quentin Boggan

Quentin Lee Boggan was born on March 30, 1996 to his loving parents, Yvette Sheree and Lawrence Lee Boggan, in Tacoma, WA. Quentin weighed in at a hefty 8 lbs. 1 oz., the largest at birth, a middle child between his brother Lawrence Lee Boggan, Jr. and sister Alexa Sheree Boggan. Quentin attended elementary school at Victor Falls and Mt. View Middle School before entering Bonney Lake High School in 2011. He just completed his freshman year of high school, where he enjoyed his classes, kept his teachers on their toes, cherished his friends and activities. He was a talented athlete and excelled in football and basketball, earning numerous awards and accolades, in spite of some discouraging obstacles he endured along the way. Quentin, affectionately known to his friends and family, as Q-Tip, was a member of the 2012 Homecoming Court, as a freshman. Quentin was a special person who lived life to the fullest, but ON HIS TERMS. He had an infectious smile and a comedic nature that kept you laughing, even in the most inappropriate situations. He had a special talent for electronics, engineering and technology. Quentin could build a computer from miscellaneous machine parts and use the computer to log on to Facebook. Quentin’s Kendama was like an American Express card, he “Never left home without it”. His contagious “Wiz Khalifa” laugh had you rolling in the aisles and he thought his “abs of steel” could compete with any body builder on any stage. Quentin had a sweet tooth and could make a dozen Maple Brown Sugar Pop Tarts disappear in the wink of the eye! Family and friends meant the world to Quentin and he gave love unconditionally. In the sixteen short years of Quentin’s life, he touched the hearts and lives of so many people. He had a special spirit that brought people together. Quentin was baptized in 2009 and gave his life to the Lord, so we know that he is okay. Quentin is survived by his parents, grandparents, brother, sister and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A viewing for Quentin will be held on Wednesday, June 27 from 5-9 P.M. at Curnow Funeral Home, 1504 Main St. Sumner. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 11 A.M. at the Puyallup Foursquare Church. A private family interment will follow. Quentin's life story will be posted on our website Monday.
