Obituary of Donald H

Donald H. Blair, 81, formerly of Hesperia, CA. died on Wednesday, 2/8/2012 of cancer complications. Donald was born Sept 30, 1930 in Aberdeen South Dakota to Eldon and Esther Blair. Donald served in the United States Air Force for 30 years with two tours to SE Asia in DaNang Vietnam and Udorn, Thailand. After retirement he worked for the Hesperia High School system for eleven years. His hobbies were fishing and gardening. Donald is preceded in death by his parents Eldon and Esther Blair and several Aunts and Uncles. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Edith, 6 children; Linda (Mike)Sipe, Ronald, Bill (Camille), Bruce (Barbara), Brian, Barbara (Lon,Jr.)Warren, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 2 step grandchildren, sister Carol Heipler and brother Robert. A viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Curnow Funeral Home, Sumner, WA. with graveside services to follow at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA at 11:15am. We wish to thank all the staff and doctors at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Washington States Soldiers Home for all the good care they provided.
