Obituary of Beatrice Jane Dockeray

Beatrice Jane Dockeray Jane passed away on November 29, 2011 in Seattle, WA at the age of 80. Jane was born in Tacoma on August 6, 1931 to the late Bernice and Fredrick Wolf. She attended Annie Wright Seminary and was a graduate of Stadium High School. Jane and her husband Judd were longtime residents of Sumner, WA, where they owned Taylor's Interiors. In addition, Jane enjoyed a long career of volunteering. She was Past President of Tacoma Orthopedic Association, Past President of Sumner Promotions Group, served as Daffodilian Lady Jane '86, and was a volunteer at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. Jane was preceded in death by her son Todd and her brothers Fredrick, James, and Richard Wolf. She is survived by Judd, her husband and best friend of 56 years, her daughters Denise Guilland (Gary) and Melissa Duke (Don), granddaughter Paige Guilland, and her sisters Marion Rothweiler and Ottilie Nelson. Jane was an amazing person who truly brightened up a room when she walked in. We will always cherish her love of family, her strength, and her spirited approach to life. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Curnow Funeral Home of Sumner, WA. A remembrance celebration will be held in early January.
