Obituary of Cecelia Josephine Landaker

Cecelia (Bead) Josephine Loidhamer Sevold Landaker July 16, 1917 to November 18, 2011 Bead was born in Edgewood, Washington, where she resided until her death November 18, 2011. She was the ninth of twelve children born to Lewis H. and Susanna Koppi Loidhamer. Her five children survive her: Annette Sevold Barritt (Arnold), Gary Sevold (Carol), Ted Sevold, Teresa Landaker Hickam (Don), and Leslie Landaker Wise. Seven grandchildren: Pamela Barritt Lewis, Greg Barritt (Julie), David Barritt, Ed Sevold, Danielle Sevold, Angie Sevold, Austin Wise and great grandchildren Sam and Marc Lewis, Ethan and Jaclyn Barritt, Shelby and Kyle Barritt, Tanner Sevold, Cheyenne and Colton LaHaie, and Jacob Reich. Also surviving is her brother Edward (Buck) Loidhamer of Juneau and sister Julie Hegnes of Gig Harbor as well as many nieces and nephews. Loved by so many because she loved so many. Bead was a giving, welcoming person who always put family first with unconditional love. If she wasn’t in the kitchen cooking for family you could find her in her garden pulling weeds and moving plants bigger than she. Positive and strong to the end, she will be missed beyond words. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. both at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Fife. Interment will follow at Sumner Cemetery.
