Obituary of Marie Bunje

Marie "Bunny" Bunje Went home to be with Jesus on October 22nd, 2011. She was born on January 20th, 1913 in Zena, Indiana to Ada and Oscar French. She met Delbert Bunje after their families had settled out West. They married, raised two daughters in Yakima and later moved to Puyallup to retire close to family. They enjoyed many hobbies together and were snowbirds for several years. Marie loved family, painting, sewing, camping and traveling. After Delbert passed away she found a new life in volunteering at Grannies Attic in Puyallup where she continued to volunteer until she was 96. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Delbert and grandson Randee Elliott. She is survived by daughters Darlene Elliott and Sandra Reeder, 4 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. There will be no formal service. A private gathering will be scheduled later.
