Obituary of Edwin Ray Allen

Edwin Ray Allen Born January 26, 1935, passed away Friday October 28, 2011 with his family at his side. Ed was born in Delta, Utah to Bertha (Stringham) Hilton and Harold Allen. He married Judith Ellen Dunkin on February 11, 1956. Ed resided most of his life in University Place, Washington. His faith was very important to him and he was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ed was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Ed was an avid genealogist and had a great love of the outdoors. He often took his children and grandchildren on camping trips, and later in life spent two wonderful years traveling around the country with his wife Judy. Ed is survived by his wife Judith, sons Michael and Patrick, daughter Kari (Mark) Harris, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Wesley (Terri) Hilton, brother Wayne (Mary) Hilton, and sister Joni (Jimmy) Phares. Private graveside service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
