Obituary of Clarence Merle Ausbun

Clarence Merle Ausbun 11/03/36 - 10/03/11 Clarence passed away from heart complications. Born in Spearman, TX. His family moved to Washington State when he was 2 years old. A graduate of Puyallup High School in 1955, served in the U.S. Army for 3 years, last deployment being at Fort Monmouth, NJ, where he met and married his wife Carol on April 26th, 1958. Employed at Super Value (West Coast Grocery) in Tacoma for 38 years as a truck driver. Member of Teamsters Union #313, member and Past Commodore of the Carver Cruisers Yacht Club, past member of the Viking Yacht Club, member of the Puyallup Eagles Daffodil Aerie #2308 and the International Order of the Blue Gavel. Survived by his wife Carol of 53 years, sons Christopher, James (Candice), and Tracy, grandsons Jordan (Nicole), Benjamin, Taylor, and Blake in California and great-granddaughter Ava, sisters Lucille Laughlin and Dorothy Skonezney and many numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by father Benjamin, mother Carrie, sister Betty Helin, brother Leonard, and grandson Shawn. Clarence's favorite pastimes were fishing, boating, camping, traveling, RVing and spending time with his family. He will always be in our thoughts. Memorial service will be held at the Puyallup Eagles Daffodil Aerie #2308, 202 5th NW, Puyallup, WA 98371 on October 19th, 2011 at 11AM. In memory of Clarence, the family strongly suggests donations be made to the Daffodil Aerie #2308, for the generosity they have extended.
