"Andy" was my favorite grade school teacher. I was in his 5th grade class at Edgemont in 1953-54. Some of my memories include his playing the guitar in the classroom, a fieldtrip to a tree forrest farm, and weaving a roll basket (which my mom used until she died in 1992). I can't imagine how many hours he spent drilling holes in the bases for the entire class. I was a good student and I was crushed when he gave me a C in penmanship--but it also spurred me on to improve my...

Howard Anderson was the most honest, Godliest person I have ever known. He was so proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. I liked him the moment I met him at his nephews house, Glenn Anderson and my sister, the other, Nancy Anderson. How he must be rejoicing, joining the love of his life, Nancy, in heaven. Debbie, Denise and Darren it must be so hard to let go of such a fine father. Although it must make your heart sing to think about them together again.

Dearest Debbie, Darren, and Denise... your dad was truly one in a million! Both of your parents showed God's love to everyone around them. It was a priviledge to know them both. Your dad was so special to me and he always had such a ready smile and a "hello Sue!" for me every time I saw him. Even at the end when speaking was so difficult, I could always see the smile in his eyes. I loved him and will miss him. Oh what a day that will be when we are reunited again! My love and...

Heaven became a little brighter as earth became a little dimmer. I was so blessed and fortunate to be befriended by his daughter, Denise, as a young girl. I wasn't the ideal friend for his daughter, but Mr. Andersen (and Mrs. Anderson) graciously and lovingly accepted me. Mr. Anderson was 'salt' and 'light' to all around him and most of all to his family. He demostrated devotion to the Lord and his family at a level not seen by many today but I was so fortunate to witness. Mr. A was an...

That is a wonderful tribute to your dad. He was a God fearing man who was loved so much, especially by his family.
