Obituary of Lorraine M. Saylor

Lorraine M. (Howard) Saylor 1-2-1925 to 6-24-2011 Born in the Pacific Northwest, she is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lt. Colonel Edward J. Saylor. Lorraine was preceded in death by her son Eddie, son-in-law Donald, and grandson David. She is survived by her sister Nellie June, daughter Charlotte Anderson, son Rodney (Billie) Saylor, niece Darlene (Gerald ) Whipple, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Lorraine loved to visit the family ranch in Jordan, MT and ride the horses. She accompanied her husband to many Doolittle Raider reunions. One of her fondest memories was when Disney Studios sent them to Hawaii for the premier of the movie "Pearl Harbor". She lived in England and Labrador. Lorraine loved to travel the world and visit many countries, of which Germany was her favorite. She knew a lot about nature and shared it with her grandchildren. Lorraine had a passion for life and family, and she will be deeply missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. at 14010 99th Ave East, Puyallup, 98373.
