Obituary of Daryl J. Zylstra

Daryl Jerome Zylstra Beloved son, brother, husband, Dad, Opa and friend, quietly passed away on May 19, 2011 in his home. He was born June 29, 1938 in Coupeville, WA, and lived many years in Tacoma. In 1967, Daryl married Sydney Carlson and together they raised their daughters Karrie Ann and Mary Sue near Lake Tapps. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren Gavin, Kieran, Meghan and Quinton. They learned from him the beauty of God's world. Fishing, hiking, biking, skiing, jogging and frog finding were some of their many activities together. He will be profoundly missed by all who survive him. Services to celebrate his life will be at Puyallup United Methodist Church, May 24, 2011 at 4:30pm.
