Obituary of Tammy Lynn Moran

Tammy Lynn (Arndt) Moran Born April 24, 1967; passed away May 3, 2011 in her home. Having battled diabetes, M.S., and numerous other ailments most of her life, she still tried to maintain a sense of humor. Tam had a sweet smile and loving nature. She had a feisty side, but rarely said anything bad about people; Tam was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She had a beautiful voice and loved all music. Her love of poetry/writing came from her father, who taught her chess at 3. She was denied much others take for granted--having children, a job, or simply driving a car. She was unable to fly these last years, and so couldn't see family in other states. The outdoors, camping, walking on the beach, and bonfires with friends were special to her. Trips to Mt. Rainier, the ocean, rides on motorcycles, and going to casinos were her favorite entertainment. She graduated from Auburn Off-Campus at 22, due to great teachers and determination. She is survived by her beloved husband Roger, "children" Cuddles, Toby and Tinkerbell, parents Michael/Pam Arndt and Sandra Black, mother-in-law Bonnie Linthicum, sisters Michelle O'Malley and Sherry Hoefs, step-sister Sara Silverthorne, grandfathers John Szakacsi and Dominic D'Angelo, grandmother Mary Black, brothers Michael Arndt and Alex Arndt, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, aunt Gina Pagett, several other aunts/uncles on both sides of the family, and too many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nephews and niece to name. She was preceded in death by stepfather Barry Black, grandmothers Pauline Dolan and Margret Arndt, step-grandmother Mildred Szakacsi, and grandfather Bill Arndt. A celebration of her life will be on May 14, 2011 at 2:00 pm at her mother's home in Graham, WA.
