Dixie Thomson

Obituary of Dixie Darlene Thomson

In loving memory of our wife and mother, Dixie Darlene Thomson, who passed away on March 25, 2024. Dixie was the devoted wife of Donald James Thomson for 65 years and loving mother of Timothy, (wife Kelli) and Kimberly (husband Bob). Dixie was the youngest of 14 Brothers and Sisters. She was also the grandmother of 13 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. During her lifetime she loved to garden, dig razor clams, camp, and sew and quilt with her sister and nieces. She will be deeply missed by all who know her. Our mother/wife was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Dixie was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Growing up, our mother was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strong faith, and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to. Her Celebration of life will be held at Station House 726, (427 N. Meridian, Puyallup Washington) on April 12th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Hands House Puyallup @ helpinghandshouse.org. Wife and Mother, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Enjoy heaven. Until we meet again.
