Obituary of Glenda M Omat

Glenda M Omat, 77, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, surrounded by family, after a long and difficult illness.

Glenda was born on June 11, 1945 to Glen and Helen Finkle in Glendive, Montana. After multiple moves, they made their home in Puyallup, WA, where Glenda graduated from Puyallup High School in 1963.

After multiple jobs, Glenda was able to retire in 1998 and started traveling throughout the United States and Mexico in their motorhome, enjoying her time with friends and family.

Glenda split her time between Ocean Shores, WA and Apache Junction, AZ, making lifelong friends every everywhere she went. She was passionate about her family and friends and would go to the end of the earth and back for them, with no questions asked.

Glenda was predeceased in death by her father Glen, her mother Helen, and 2 brothers, David and Duane. She is survived by Spud (Wilfred) Despres, her 2 daughters Laurie (Rich) Hutchinson, Lynette (Derek) Bryant, 4 grandchildren Trinity (Ryan) Wilson, Brittany (Marshall) Giovannini, Sara (Elliott) Kettler, Patrick Chemodurow and 7 great grandchildren, Lily & Frankie Wilson, Wesley & Watson Giovannini and Teddy, Michael & Ellie Kettler.
