Obituary of Patricia Schwab Callinsky

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Patricia Callinsky (Schwab). She passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on April 3rd, 2023 with her three children by her side.

Pat was born in Puyallup, WA on March 17th, 1941 and continued to reside in Washington to raise her family. She married John Callinsky in 1993 and together enjoyed traveling, including many trips to Mexico and numerous cruises. Being an avid tennis and pickleball player she enjoyed the warm weather that Arizona provided every winter while in the summer she enjoyed spending time at her cabin in Yelm, WA which her son (Jeff) helped build for her. Pat’s grandchildren (Madison and Mckel) have many fond memories of canoeing and picking blackberries with their grandma at the cabin.

Pat always had a smile on her face, a wry sense of humor, and made many friends within the hobbies she enjoyed. Being a true Puyallup native, she loved visiting the Puyallup Farmers’ Market and the Washington State Fair. She would never miss an opportunity to snag her favorite treat, a legendary fair scone.

Pat leaves behind her children: Stacie, Jeff (Sharon), and Chris (Dale) as well as granddaughters Madison and McKel and great-grandson Henry. Her husband (John) preceded her in death a short 3 months prior.
