Obituary of Harold Eugene Swanson

Harold E. (Swannie) Swanson, passed away March 2, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born to Josephine and Alfred Swanson on 11/1/1937. He was a life long resident of the Puyallup valley and a 1955 PHS graduate.  Harold's passions were his flowers, fishing and hunting with his longtime friends and woodworking in his shop creating beautiful birdhouses and much more. He totally loved watching his sports  He was known by many as a local bartender working at The Crossbow Inn, Irongate, Forbidden City and Sea Dragon. He was preceeded in death by his parents and his brother Art. He is survived by his brother Robert (Ann) Swanson, nephew Mark (Sherri) Swanson, niece Shannon (Jim) Harris and many other relatives and friends that will miss him.  Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner will provide a graveside service that will be held on March 9, 2023 at 11:30am at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a Parkinsons Disease Organization of your choice.
