Obituary of Cheryl Kay Hunt

Cheryl (Cherie) Kay Hunt, beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called to her heavenly home on Friday, November 25, 2022. She passed away peacefully with family around her after being diagnosed with lung cancer and suffering a heart attack. Cherie will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Cherie had a servant’s heart, and her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and grandmother and she loved every minute of it; she did it all in love with grace, humility, and wisdom.

Cherie is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, Pete, daughter, Lourie, sons, Steve (Kelly), and Rob; 5 grandchildren, Ashley (David) Sinkula, Garrett (Savanah) Hunt, Dalton (Kaylen) Hunt, Lyndsay (Andy) Smith, Lexie (Rodrigo) Smith; 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Bonnie (Ron) Lukken. She is also survived by ex-daughters-in-law, Shannon Krumpos and Shelly Hunt, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by one of her twin grandsons, Cameron Hunt.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Lake City Community Church, 8810 Lawndale Ave SW, Lakewood, WA 98498.
