Obituary of Nancy Jean Marcordes

Nancy Jean Marcordes passed on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at home with her loving husband by her side.

She was born on February 10, 1949 in Puyallup, WA to Bonnie and Harry Huff. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David, her two sons, Ian (Kerri) and Gus (Kristen), four grandchildren, sisters Colleen and Bonnie Lou, and her brother Sam.

A life long resident of Sumner, WA, Nancy attended Sumner High School where she was a cheerleader and Daffodil Princess.  After high school she briefly attended the University of Washington before becoming a flight attendant with United Airlines. She met her husband David shortly after that. It was love at first sight for both and they married later that year in Sumner on November 7, 1969.

She went back to school and earned an AA degree from GRCC in 1988. She worked at Boeing for nine years before getting interested in antiques. Nancy bought and sold relics for the next ten years.  She enjoyed the history of antiques and meeting all the interesting people along the way.

She will be missed by all who knew her, but especially by her family who were so important to her every day of her life.
