Obituary of Melinda Ann Lesniak

Melinda was born February 16, 1948 to Melvin and Jean Bergman of Bothell, WA. Where she graduated from Bothell High School, then attended the Everett Community College two year Nursing program where she graduated as an RN and was immediately hired by Children’s Orthopedic Hospital as surgical nurse.  Melinda met Jim on New Years Eve, 1969 and married on October 4, 1969. Two years later, our first child. Jeffrey was born, and again in 2 years, Greg was born.  We bought our home of 50 years in 1972 and have had a great life there.  Polycystic Kidney Disease created the need for dialysis in 1992, a kidney transplant worked well for 10 ½ years, then more dialysis till the end.  We had a very happy and compatible marriage, no arguments but always shared our thoughts and needs, which worked beautifully for us.  Our family was very close and enjoyed being together, and in her good times, Melinda enjoyed preparing beautiful, healthful meals for us and for our visitors.  In spite of the difficult times there was never a complaint!  Melinda has passed into a comfortable and peaceful world on October 27, 2022.
