Obituary of Louise Marie Foster
Louise Marie Foster, 84, passed away on October 20th, 2022, with her family by her side in Puyallup, Washington.
She was born to Frank and Mabel Silva on January 8th in Fairfield, California.
Louise was the fourth of fifteen children and loved her entire family deeply.
Louise and her husband, Harvey Ezra Foster, established their home together in Yakima, Washington, in 1974, where she continued to reside until her passing.
Louise prided herself on being of strong character and supporting her family as she worked alongside her husband during the harvest season. She later retired as a warehouse supervisor in a local Yakima warehouse.
Louise has a combined total of 8 children, Alexander Donald Hansen Jr., David Allen Hansen, Carolyn Ann Price, Dale Eugene Hansen, Falinda Fallynn-Leaph Riley, Joey Dale Foster, Deloris LaVella Gardner, and Timothy Ray Foster.
Louise was grateful for her son and daughter-in-law's kindness and generosity, especially for supporting her children.
Her pride and joy, however, lay in the faces of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved sharing their photos and how each was individually special to her.
Louise cherished her time with her family and friends and the stories they shared. In her downtime, Louise enjoyed sewing, crafting, taking photos, playing cards, watching her favorite shows, and listening to music she loved. Louise's memory will live on through family traditions such as decorating for the holidays, family recipes, and her extensive family research.
Services will be held at Hill funeral home at 217 E. Pioneer, Puyallup, WA. 98372 on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, an open invitation for viewing is extended to family and friends between 12:00 and 2:00 PM, followed by a chapel service beginning at 3:00 PM.
Monday, November 7th, there will be an intimate graveside service at 1:00 PM. Louise will be laid to rest, alongside her husband, in Calvary Cemetery at 1405 S. 24th Ave. Yakima, Washington 98902.
